We took the subway to 96th Street and started our adventure in Riverside Park. Our first stop was at the 91st Street Garden - I love the flowers in the garden! They weren't in full bloom, but they were still pretty!
Then we left the park at 72nd street, grabbed some lunch at Chipotle, and headed over to Central Park. We meandered through Central Park for a couple hours. We stopped at the fountain to people watch and look at the scenery, and we stopped in the mall to sit on a bench and do some more people watching. We left the park at the south side on 59th and then headed to Starbucks for a bathroom break and refreshments and then walked home (another 30 or so blocks).
We probably walked about 5 miles in total. It was wonderful! Maybe next time we'll spend the day walking around and exploring all the areas of Central Park alone.
