After work on Friday, Bobby and I decided to explore a neighborhood of New York that we had never really been to before - Chelsea.

On the advice of a coworker, we decided to explore the
High Line. I believe it is a set of old, above ground railroad tracks that were used when bringing cattle trains into the city. There were talks of tearing down the tracks, but they decided it would be better to turn it into a park and walking area. It was beautiful! I can only imagine what it will look like in full bloom! The trail runs from about 30th Street down past 14th - but we got off at 14th so that we could explore Chelsea Market.

Chelsea Market is a fabulous market! It's a scaled down version of Pikes Place (in Seattle, WA) in that whereas Pikes Place might have several seafood grocers, Chelsea Market has one. But it was a great one! There was also a meat area, a bakery and several other little stores. It was a great place to walk around and I can't wait to shop there for groceries!

| Don't those scallops look delicious!! |
While walking around we also saw a blimp in the sky! I think it had an advertisement on it but it was still neat to see!
It is so much fun getting to explore "new" areas of New York with Bobby!
