a.k.a. Freshmen

My classmates and I got into a little debate today about what is another term for freshmen. I say that freshmen are called "Fish" (which is a term my friends have never heard of) and others say it's "Frosh" (which is something I have never heard of). (I don't even remember how we got onto this topic, but it has now turned into quite a little debate - hey! We'll do anything to procrastinate during Final Exam season!)
